The
Academy aims at achieving its goal step by step. First
and foremost target is to create a broad base by venturing
the areas having potential players and gradually screening
to elite level.
ACTIVITIES
Since
inception, the Academy has produced quite a good number
of players who not only played in Calcutta 1st Division
league from various reputed clubs, some of them even
represented the country in international competitions.
The Academy arranges a
selection trial every year to induct new trainees under
the supervision of expert personals. The players, mostly
10 – 12 years age, who are inducted for undergoing
training are provided with sports kits at a nominal
rate and regular Tiffin also provided after the practice
session.
In order to accommodate
and expose the players with competitions, the Academy
adopted a 1st division club of Kolkata which brought
many upcoming players into lime light. The Academy has
tie-up with some reputed 1st division Football Clubs
where budding talented players get the opportunity to
prove their worth.
In addition to regular
coaching camp (thrice a week) throughout the year, the
Academy has organized a number of coaching camps in
the remote areas like Galudi of Jharkhand in order to
attract the talents of the rural and to expose the regular
trainees under varied environment. These camps have
been very successful and created great enthusiasm amongst
players and organizers as well.
Periodically, we also conduct
Seminar, Clinics, workshops etc and take part in all
such programmes regularly in order to update ourselves
so that the players, in turn, are benefited.
